A creation of the English artists Joe & Max has broken all records: his is the painting of street which surface in 3D is the largest ever made so far (1160 square meters). To reveal it is the Guinness Book of World Records. Recently, the creation of these contemporary trompe l’oeil, unsettling and fascinating, has become a veritable mania that has infected many artists.
The most widely used solution is to open imaginary cliffs in the soil, causing a considerable dizzy gaze. But the creativity of the protagonists of this new artistic fashion – born from below, from the world of street art – has diversified in unpredictable ways, creating fanciful and improbable scenarios.
The most interesting are those who interact in the scene, real urban elements, permanent or temporary, such as windows, poles, billboards, with the virtual ones painted by the artists.
Internet has amplified the phenomenon and today there are very numerous blogs dedicated to this new trend in urban art, including Street Art Utopia.
